  this is another file that ive pieced together from a few different sources. the keybindings are espically useful here, since i often have 10 or so windows open in any given screen session that i run anymore. I've streamlined the navigation as well as possible, as well as throwing down other helpful toys (though the file still stayed amazingly small for all the cool stuff it does).

  Use Ctrl-F as command key. Memorable key commands to split windows, switch windows, monitor. Nice status line at bottom to list windows, highlight active window, and show current date/time. Client applications see TERM=screen rather than TERM=linux which works better with some terminfo packages.
